Hey guys, I hope everyone had a Happy Fathers Day and just a good day in general. Everyone has a different type of relationship with there father some good some not as much. I love my dad and you know how many times i tell him that? Never. I was reading Miss Natty's blog i will post her link down below, and the read the letter she wrote her dad who passed away 8 months ago. It made me cry because it sounds alot like how i feel with my dad but just never express it. From my whole family I'm the only one that doesn't show my feeling or is affectionate. Don't get me wrong with my husband and son I tell them I love them all the time, It's just different with my parents. I know my dad knows I love him but wishes I would show it and tell him.
After reading Miss Natty's blog It made me realize that i shouldn't wait until it's too late to let my dad know I love him, so i will make it a priority to change my relationship with him and let him know how much i love him. In case he reads this Daddy I love you so much words can't express I am so thankful to have you in my life..

ReplyDeleteIt's funny because your loved ones (parents, siblings, etc) should be the easiest ones to show affection to because the feelings of love are completely mutual. Your family will never turn you down.. it's an eternal, continuous love. It's silly to feel shy or embarrassed. There's nothing to lose, right?
Telling the people you love how you really feel about them is very good for your spirit, and it will leave you with fewer regrets later on.
